My name is Ilana Eberson and I
founded Real Live People Party in June 2004. I have
worked in the dating, relationship and personal
growth fields for many years. I have a background in
party and event planning and have arranged
gatherings ranging from 20 people in a local bar to
an 800 people fundraiser at Lincoln Center. For 3
years I was one of the hosts of the original Speed
Dating events and I worked for an online dating
company called JCupid (now known as MatchNet). I am
trained as a Certified holistic health practitioner
& counselor which gives me a realistic understanding
of people and relationships. I have an intuitive
sense of what makes people tick and how to put
people together. This ability has helped me make
personal and professional matches for people
throughout my whole life.
Our parties are different from other single's
groups. We were the FIRST group to introduce our
members to each other at our events. We don't want
to just collect your money at the door and throw you
in a room. We want to give you more value for your
money...and we want you to have fun! Since our first
party we have been making Personal Guest
Introductions...whether you want to meet someone for
romantic, professional or platonic reasons. We love
introducing our members to each other to help them
connect.
My hosts and I run each event to guarantee you have
a pleasurable and enjoyable experience. Isn't that
why you go to parties? Many of our activities are
interactive to help you meet other members in a no
pressure, no stress environment. Having a common
interest and doing something you enjoy is a great
ice-breaker and when people are having fun and
smiling, they are much more approachable.
If you don't know anyone when you get to our parties
please come find one of our hosts and say hello. We
are easy to spot with our flashing badges. I try to
say hello to each person at my parties so I'll
probably find you first!
